INTRODUCTION
My pages on Helsingborg.se is aimed at creating a platform that facilitates improved communication between citizens and the government. The platform will provide a personalised experience for citizens to access government services, with all services conveniently available through a single point of access.
Helsingborg, the second-largest city in southern Sweden, was selected as a finalist for the 2020 European Capital of Innovation Awards. As one of the most innovative cities in Europe, Helsingborg is committed to being a smart, sustainable, and innovative city.
PROJECT GOAL
My pages on Helsingborg.se is a platform that is built within the official municipality website (helsingborg.se). By logging into the platform, citizens will be able to easily manage their government-related tasks and responsibilities in a streamlined manner. The overall goal of the project is to enhance citizen engagement with the government, increase efficiency in service delivery, and promote greater transparency in government operations.
As the platform, is built on Helsingborg City's homepage, therefore I was also responsible for the UI design for the whole website.

I have joined the team as a UX/UI designer which involves creating a personalized platform on Helsingborg.se. In this role, I am responsible for conducting user research, prototyping, and user testing. My responsibilities also extend beyond UI design to ensure that the platform meets the needs of Helsingborg residents in a user-friendly and intuitive way.
Conducting research
JUNE - AUG 2022
This project involves multiple stakeholders, including different internal departments within Helsingborg City and external partners such as Abou and the school portal. To ensure the platform meets the needs of all stakeholders, I conducted interviews with government departments to identify pain points in e-service handling. I also analyzed user behaviour statistics and conducted site visits to the KC Support Center. This research aims to develop a user-friendly platform that meets the needs of all stakeholders.

I conducted site visits to the contact centre, observed their daily operations, and gained valuable insights into their processes and workflows.
User story mapping

Due to the project's diverse range of stakeholders and objectives, organizing tasks for both developers and designers has been a challenge. In addition to using ClickUp, we decided to set up a whiteboard as well as a user story mapping board, both physically and digitally on Miro, to allow all team members to discuss the project visually and update their task status in real time. This has provided greater visibility and accountability for all team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards the same goals.

Redesign UI on helsingborg.se
NOV 2022 - FEB 2023
Since GDI is a platform built on Helsingborg City's homepage, I am responsible for ensuring a seamless user flow between the two. This includes overseeing the login user flow on helsingborg.se and designing the UI of the homepage. Additionally, when the city decided to update their brand image, I was tasked with designing the UI for the entire website.

As part of our efforts to improve the user experience on helsingborg.se and GDI, I have conducted research to enhance the user flow for one of our stakeholders, the Volunteer Center. The focus was on creating a streamlined process for users to register on helsingborg.se and check their application status on the GDI platform.
