INTRODUCTION
Visit Helsingborg is a travel website dedicated to exploring Helsingborg, one of the most popular travel destinations in southern Sweden. This website offers information on the city's attractions, activities, and events, as well as practical tips and advice for planning a successful trip to Helsingborg.
Helsingborg, the second-largest city in southern Sweden, was selected as a finalist for the 2020 European Capital of Innovation Awards. As one of the most innovative cities in Europe, Helsingborg is committed to being a smart, sustainable, and innovative city.
PROJECT GOAL
The goal of this project is to enhance the user experience and user interface design of Visit Helsingborg's website, while also aligning it with the city's new brand image. Our team has implemented several new features to improve the website's functionality and usability, providing visitors with an even more engaging and informative online experience.

As a UX/UI designer, my responsibilities in this project include conducting user research, prototyping, and user testing to ensure that the website meets the needs of its users. Additionally, I am tasked with aligning the website with the new brand image to ensure consistency and strengthen the brand's identity.

To identify user needs and pain points on the website, I have undertaken several research methods. These include validating the website's user flow and analyzing its statistics using Analytics.

I have conducted a statistical website analysis to gain insights into user behaviour and identify pain points. This includes examining language preferences, user demographics, the most frequently clicked items on the site, etc.

In addition to analyzing website statistics, I have also identified pain points within the user flow and determined the specific needs of the users.

Following the research, I identified several pain points and began working on solutions. This involved creating a detailed list of functions and features for each category, as well as determining the necessary content information that should be displayed on the website.

To reorganise
and restructure the user flow
JAN - FEB 2023
As part of my efforts to improve the website, I reorganized the structure of the categories and made changes to the user flow. This involved restructuring the layout of the site to make it easier to navigate and find information, and updating the flow of actions that users take as they move through the site. The goal of these changes was to improve the overall user experience and address any pain points that were identified during the research process.

Prototyping
FEB - MAR 2023
After completing the research, I began sketching out a prototype for the website. This involved creating a preliminary design that incorporated the changes and improvements that were identified during the research process. The prototype served as a visual representation of the proposed changes and helped to communicate the new design to stakeholders and team members. The prototype was refined over time based on feedback and testing and eventually formed the basis for the final design of the website.
